We are Lianna and Marianne - sisters, Taiwanese-Americans raised in the Bay Area, and the founders of AIKAN.

We’ve always believed that eyewear could be more than functional. The glasses we wear everyday reflect who we are, as does the jewelry we choose. Inspired by how we accessorize, layer, and personalize each look, we set out to create eyewear that offers that same taste of expression.

Each pair is designed by us (& our cats, Noki and Kopi) in California, then thoughtfully crafted & assembled in Taiwan - the place our family calls home! This connection is deeply personal to us, and it’s reflected in our approach to quality, detail, and intention.

At AIKAN, we believe in thoughtful designs and pieces that last. Our frames are made to be worn daily, kept close, and styled to be distinctly yours.
